Rates, Payments, & Lesson Duration:

Rates and other fees for in home piano lessons can vary significantly.  Always keep in mind the experience and educational background and training when choosing a piano teacher.  Conerning payment for piano lessons, I like to keep things as simple as possible .... there are no monthly contracts for students to sign and there are no up-front commitments necessary.  I know many other teachers and schools ask for these up-front commitments, but I do not think they are necessary if the student is satisfied with the teachers' ability and happy with their progress.  Fortunately, I have been able to establish long-term relationships with the vast majority of my students.

Lessons can be paid for at the end of each lesson in the form of cash or personal check.  If you need to cancel a scheduled lessons, simply give me at least a 24 hour notice and there will be no charge.  However, if a lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, I will need to charge 50% of the lesson fee.  I do this only because I have many students relying on me and it is not fair to other students if I am unable to fulfill my obligations to them.  My rates for piano lesson are:
